Title: Proposed Creator/Contributor/Publisher Qualifiers
Creator:DC Agents Working Group
Date: 1999-08-27
Status: OBSOLETE
This is the first draft of the PROPOSED list of qualifiers for the Dublin Core Creator/Contributor/Publisher
elements. After a summary of the usage of qualifiers was completed (see [1] and [2]), the Agent WG has proposed [3]
that the qualifiers be based on the vCard specification [4].
It is important to note that the semantics of the vCard qualifiers is being adopted - not the syntax. Also, vCard supports the use of inline binary content (eg image, sound). We recommend that this type of content be referred to with a formal identification system (eg URIs).
The list below describes each of these qualifiers. They are grouped into higher level categories for convienence.
