Dear all,
Digital Medievalist are (very) last minute organising a “lightning talk” session for Kalamazoo and are looking for a series of brief (c. 7 mins) introductions to Digital Humanities strategies and tools. The session is aimed at beginners who are curious about applying computer-based methodologies to their teaching and research.
Potential topics could include -- but are not limited to -- data visualisation, network analysis, linked open data, computer-assisted mark-up, data modelling and geographic information system (GIS) mapping.
The session is hybrid, and is:
Thursday 9th May – 10am-11.30am (EDT)
12 Sangren Hall 2710
If you’re interested, then please send a couple of lines to [log in to unmask] by Tuesday 30th May.
Very much looking forward to hearing from you.
Best,
Stewart
