The BAAL social justice oriented mail list should be taken as encompassing the following areas but not limited to: 1. Critical, transformative, and anti-oppressive pedagogies 2. Epistemic justice, anti-colonization and decolonization 3. Neoliberalism, sustainability and environmental justice 4. Migration, social mobility, human rights, and peacebuilding 5. Digital equity and critical theory of technology 6. An intersectional approach to understanding many forms of oppression such as racism, sexism, ableism, classism, heteronormativity etc.
