I was just reading the tutorial on contrast weights for repeated measure designs for two groups. However, I've run into some problems.... (1) My design matrices are not 1s and 0s after estimation. Does this influence what the contrast weights need to be. I believe the design matrix reflects the unequal variance for the group factor and unequal N in each group. (2) I entered in the stated contrasts in the tutorial and SPM returns invalid contrast no matter which contrast I try (I tried 3 or 4). Also, I tried several different models with the same frustration. If anyone could provide some insight into the source of this problem and how to fix it, I'd appreciate it. Thank you very much, Donald
