If you put "rufous stiffney norfolk -stiffkey" into a Google search, you get 149 hits which all start "The rufous bush chat was spotted at Stiffney, Norfolk", mostly from news websites, including the BBC.

Stiffney here is a mistake for Stiffkey, and it's a depressing example of how misinformation spreads on the internet.  In 2008 I pointed out on this list that a mythical place called Oarwen was listed on many websites (really Darwen).   It's still with us - you can still get directions to Oarwen, book a restaurant in Oarwen, or get a weather forecast.
