This list is for announcements and discussion related to the activities of ADM-HEA, the Art, Design and Media Subject Centre of the Higher Education Academy. The Subject Centre promotes high quality in the learning and teaching of ADM in HE by enabling knowledge exchange, innovation and enterprise.

BAFTSS  
This list is used by the British Association of Film, Television and Screen Studies to make announcements relevant to teachers and researchers in these areas.

BAFTSS-PRSIG  
The BAFTSS (British Association of Film, Television and Screen Studies) Practice Research Special Interest Group (PRSIG) aims to evaluate how practice can contribute new knowledge to the field in terms of its significance, originality and rigour, exploring innovative methods of academic dissemination and peer review; as well as the potential of practice research for public engagement and impact.

An interdisciplinary mailing list for Cinema and Photography: An arena for scholars to share critical discussion, CFPs, bibliographic information, and public announcements of interest across film and photography whether formally, philosophically, theoretically or critically based.

CREATIVEINDUSTRIES  
Creative Industries is a forum for debate and discussion of research and knowledge transfer issues and ideas concerned with the creative industries.

CULTURAL-TRANSLATION  
The Cultural Translation and East Asia: Art, Film and Literature mailing list is to encourage and support the development and maintain of this aspect of Asian Studies in the UK and beyond.

CULTURESOFSURVEILLANCENETWORK  
This list serves as a network of and for scholars working in the area of surveillance studies. We seek to engage with scholars from a range of multidisciplinary backgrounds, post jobs, events, CFPs and discussion topics within a shared research area of surveillance, culture and the twenty first century.

CYBERTHEATRES  
Cybertheatres is a list devoted to the discussion and exchange on networked performance practices and visions, that is, performances that employ the Internet and / or other networking technologies and techniques as media, but also as hybrid spaces - cybernetic stages. other than networked performance, the list has also an interest in diverse hybrids between theatre / performance and technology.

GAVN  
The Glasgow AudioVisual Network brings together a diverse range of researchers and practitioners who are all interested in the operation of sound within screen media from music and sound in film and television, through new media and audio-visual composition, to contemporary theatrical and artistic work that makes use of sound and moving image.

GSSPN  
The German Screen Studies Postgraduate Network connects UK-based research students working in all areas of German language film, television and other visual media.

HANNAH-MACLURE-ARTS-CENTRE  
The University of Abertay' s Hannah Maclure Centre works with contemporary and interdisciplinary cultural producers and artists from the UK and abroad, as well as supporting teaching activity and developing opportunities with staff and students.

IAMHIST  
This list is hosted by the International Association for Media and History (IAMHIST), for announcements and discussion on the broad topic of media history, and to circulate information of interest to group members (e.g. projects, reviews, call for papers, publications, etc).

ISEA  
Founded in the Netherlands in 1990, ISEA International (formerly Inter-Society for the Electronic Arts) is an international non-profit organisation fostering interdisciplinary academic discourse and exchange among culturally diverse organisations and individuals working with art, science and technology. The main activity of ISEA International is the annual International Symposium on Electronic Art (ISEA).

LATAM-SCIENCECULTURE  
This is the mailing list for Science, Text and Culture in Latin America, an AHRC-funded research network organised by Dr Joanna Page (Cambridge) and Dr Maria Blanco (Oxford).

MECCSA-REAPN  
This list is used by the Network to share information, help develop and promote research and opportunities. Research areas include but not limited to issues of race, media and culture.

MECCSA-WMSN  
The list is run by the Women's Media Studies Network which is a subsidiary of the Media, Communications and Cultural Studies Association. It fosters collaborative research in HE and hosts seminars and symposia and networking opportunities for women media researchers, teachers, practitioners and professionals. It welcomes postgraduate researchers and helps promote events which will be of interest to all of these constituencies.

MEDIA-ARTS-AND-DANCE  
This list is used by its members to announce and discuss theory, research, critical discourse, publications, conferences, networking and curatorial approaches in the field of screen based dance, including single screen cinema or television works, installation and net based work.

MIDDLEBROW-NETWORK  
This is a monthly email digest of events, publications, calls for papers etc of interest to scholars working on the 'middlebrow'.

NERFS  
This list is used by the North-Eastern Regional Film Seminar to organise its meetings and to extend discussion outside the meetings.

NEWSFILM  
For all those interested in discussing newsfilm, as well as sharing and advocating its use in research and teaching.

PARIP  
The PARIP mailing list is used for the discussion of scholarly and creative issues raised by practice as research in the disciplinary fields of performance: theatre, dance, film, video and television.

QUEERSCREENS  
This interdisciplinary mailing list aims to bring together researchers focused on diverse aspects of queer representation, ranging from film and TV to performance and periodicals, as well as to theorise and queer the screen as a medium.

REPRESENTING-PROSTITUTION  
The figure of the Prostitute is a highly enduring and controversial figure. This group engages in academic discussion around this topic. We hope to explore and engage with all aspects of the subject area and we invite all in all fields of study to engage and participate.

RIFM

It will also be used to publicize the Networks biennnial conference and other related academic and industry events.
