ACCESS-VOCATIONAL-GUIDANCE  
A forum for comments and discussion on issues concerning provision of, access to and quality of adult vocational guidance and counselling, with a particular emphasis on combating social exclusion.

ACCESSHE-DISABILITY  
An online help-desk and forum for sharing questions around support for disabled learners in HE. This list aims to act as a network to bridge school and college SENCOs with widening participation and disability services staff in HE, so they can ask questions and receive impartial advice about complex cases, DSA processes and available support for their students (e.g. accommodation, assistive technology etc).

ASASA  
A discussion list for DSA assessors, Dyslexia tutors, AT trainers, Mentors and those working under the auspices of DSA QAG.

ASSISTIVE-TECHNOLOGY  
The Assistive Technology group, a practitioner led group aims to support practitioners in developing and embedding assistive technology for students in FE and HE.

AUTISM-IN-HE  
A collaborative network for colleagues interested in supporting autistic people in HE, Autism-in-HE offers a supportive and welcoming space for discussion and sharing of practice and experience.

CALL-AT-COMMUNITY  
The aim of the List is to provide a community of information exchange and a discussion - a forum for teachers and learning support teachers (mainly in Scotland but not restricted to Scotland) who use Assistive Technology to support learners with additional support needs.

CARING-TEC-RESEARCH  
A moderated list to announce research jobs, studentships, conferences and workshops in:telecare, telehealth; assistive technology; inclusive design, and the accessibility of ICT.

CLINICALENGINEERING  
A forum for all practicing and trainee Clinical Engineers in the UK and individuals working in medical technology research and development.

COMPARATIVE-SPECIAL-EDUCATION  
1.furthering research into international comparative studies of special education systems & policies, 2.developing a data base for such studies, 3.disseminating such studies by means of information technology, 4.facilitating critical analysis of special education systems & policies.

DIS-HE-POLICY  
This list aims to serve as an interdisciplinary discussion forum for the current policy issues on the service provision for disabled students and staff in higher education in the UK bringing together researchers, service providers, service users and policy makers from a wide range of disciplines.

DISABILITY-DISASTERS  
A forum for knowledge exchange and networking between researchers from any discipline who wish to advance understanding of disability issues in a disaster or crisis context.

DISABILITYSTUDIES  
This group, based at the University of Sheffield, aims to support existing research in the area of dis/ability studies, disseminate research findings and investigate new areas of investigation and collaboration, both nationally and internationally. We welcome academics from across the disciplines as well as research users, policy makers, research participants, and others interested in contributing to this dynamic and growing field.

DSA-MATTERS  
This list exists to improve communications between different Disability Support Allowances (DSA) stakeholder groups. Please use it to discuss issues that affect two or more groups of stakeholders in the DSA. eg - Clarifications and changes to principles around equipment recommendations and approvals - Discussions about quality issues, QAFs, SLAs, KPIs, surveys that affect other groups than just individual groups - Discussions around administrative issues (eg with SFE, SLC, NHS) that affect other stakeholder groups. - Circulating proposals for comment before they are turned into policy.

A list to share information and strategies regarding changes to the Disabled Students' Allowance (DSA)

DSANET-EDINBURGH  
A forum created for HE & FE staff, based in and around the Edinburgh area, who are involved in the Disabled Students Allowance process and the ongoing support of students with disabilities and specific learning difficulties.

DYSLEXIA-ADULT-NETWORK-DAN  
This list is used by Jisc to make announcements to further and higher education and the wider society as a whole about the Dyslexia Adult Network (DAN) and to encourage communication between those who are interested in increasing awareness of the impact of dyslexia, other specific learning differences and related conditions in adults.

EBOOK-ACCESSIBILITY  
A collaborative list to facilitate discussions and planning in relation to crowd sourced e-book accessibility audits.

HORNSBY-DYSLEXIA  
This list is used by students, tutors and graduates of the Hornsby International Dyslexia Centre Diploma and Certificate to exchange ideas and information relevant to teachers of dyslexic people.

ID-RESEARCH-UK  
This list exists for behavioural and social scientists actively committed to high quality academic research in the field of intellectual disability.

ILSIG  
A mailing list to support a joint initiative with the Association for Learning Technology (ALT) and JISC TechDis to create a focus on Inclusive Learning processes in the Learning Technologist community. The group seeks to exploit web2.0 technologies to discover and share the benefits of Inclusive Learning practice with developers and students.

INCLUSION  
A list for academics and professional services staff interested in supporting inclusion, diversity, and equality in higher education. Open internationally.

LDN-REF-HE-NETWORK  
This is a platform for university staff and organisations interested in the promotion of HE opportunities for refugees and those in refugee-like situations.

MAIDD  
MAIDD (Mindfulness Acceptance and Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities) exists to create communities of researchers and academic practitioners interested in the application of mindfulness and acceptance-based approaches to support individuals with ID and/or autism and families and carers.

MATADOC  
This is an information forum for practitioners who have trained to use the Music Therapy Assessment Tool for Awareness in Disorders of Consciousness (MATADOC) This is a sub-list of MTNEUROLOGYNETWORK.

MTNEUROLOGYNETWORK  
The Music Therapy Neurology Network shares information and resources on music as a therapeutic medium for people with neurological disorders. For professionals interested in clinical practice (e.g. music therapists) and research (e.g. neurosciences, medicine), and people with neurological conditions interested in how music can help improve health and well-being.

It will be of most interest to practitioners and researchers working with adult students/clients.

SWDISABILITYNETWORK  
The list members are disability advisers and widening participation practitioner at the universities in the SW region. It is planned that the list will expand to include SEN Teachers from local schools and learning suport advisers from colleges in the SW region. We are planning to use the list for communicating collaborative events for young people with disabilities, their parents and carers as well as disability and widening participation practitioners.
