Thanks Steve. Yes, Mountney's Ing must be Mountnessing in Essex, which is listed as a very early birthplace of family members. The Google book link seems to cast doubt on the existence of Mountneys Playne, so Camden is probably not a reliable source for the family's 15th century Norfolk address!
